sometimes the vol that comes out of ft_prepare_headmodel (singleshell) has strange things sticking out. I tracked this down to the segmentation sometimes not consisting of a single compartment. Sometimes the spm segmentation yields some extra blobs outside the brain. Solution: create the triangulation from the biggest blob in the image.
