I believe it would be good if jobs could be 'niced' by the user (at the system and/or at the peerfeval level).

this can be done by specifying peerslave --matlab "nice 19 /opt/matlab ..." as the startup command. The public peerslaves are using "smartcpu" and therefore don't need nice. Also, they should not be delayed by other people's computations.
