I am not sure whether this is a good idea. There are potential other problems that are not solved by this (c.f. 3rd order gradiometers). If it is only a partial fix and still requires the users to think, I prefer the users to always think.

this should perhaps not be part of grids, but it should be part of the new-format output of ft_sourceanalysis source.leadfield = {...} source.leadfielddim = '{pos}_chan_ori' source.channel = {...}
