on ftp.fcdonders.nl in the pub/fieldtrip/tutorials directory are the *.mat files that are used in the tutorials. These should be made consistent with the actual tutorials, i.e. old mat files have to be removed. New mat files should be added. The tutorials section on the wiki contains analysis_protocols artifactdetect artifacts automatic_artifact_rejection beamformer cluster_permutation_freq cluster_permutation_timelock coherence continuous eventrelatedaveraging eventrelatedstatistics fourier headmodel introduction layout multivariateanalysis plotting preprocessing realtime rejectvisual scripting timefrequencyanalysis visual_artifact_rejection Some of these might be outdated (-> can be removed?) Some of these might not involve data on the ftp server (-> check!) For some of these the data must be updated

i now checked and adjusted all tutorials accordingly. the folders&files as on /home/common/matlab/fieldtrip/data/ftp/ are correct @robert, please make sure files are copied to/removed from ftp accordingly see overview below for changes: # the following tutorials don't have a folder on the ftp while they should: eventrelatedaveraging >> now added to /home/common/.../ftp/ plotting >> now added to /home/common/.../ftp/ realtime >> this tutorial needs to be fixed anyways # the following tutorials have a folder present on the ftp which is complete: beamformer >> 'segmentedmriF.mat' should be removed from the ftp cluster_permutation_freq>> 'GA_TFR_avg_orig.mat' should be removed from the ftp cluster_permutation_timelock coherence eventrelatedstatistics multivariateanalysis >> folder called 'classification', covattfrq1.mat and covattmri1.mri seem not to be used? timefrequencyanalysis # the following tutorials don't have a folder on the ftp and don't need one: analysis_protocols artifacts automatic_artifact_rejection continuous headmodel introduction layout preprocessing scripting visual_artifact_rejection # the following tutorials are not linked to anymore: artifactdetect fourier rejectvisual

I changed /home/common/matlab/fieldtrip/data/ftp to reflect the whole ftp layout, i.e. /pub/fieldtrip. there is now a cron job running (every 2 hours) that synchronizes /home/common/matlab/fieldtrip/data/ftp with a specific network disk that is made visible as /pub/fieldtrip on the ftp server. That cron job also removes old files from the ftp, i.e. files that were removed from home/common. Writing to the ftp site is not recommended. The fieldtrip-xxx.zip release files are also handled through the cron job and are from now also not directly written to the ftp server.
