I suggest to rename the playback directory and the some of the files in it into fieldtrip/realtime/commandline/recording.exe fieldtrip/realtime/commandline/playback.exe and also have it contain fieldtrip/realtime/commandline/buffer.exe for the simplest one (see below). those should all follow the same naming scheme, i.e. recording.exe (for the 32 bit windows version) recording_win64.exe (?) recording.maci recording.maci64 recording.glnx86 recording.glnxa64 the files online_mri/ft_buffer32 and 64 should be moved to realtime/commandline (because they are handy for other stuff as well) and provided for the other platforms. TODO add a recommendation to the contribute page about compiled executables because we'll get the same problem for other external executables (i.e. fieldtrip/external/xxx stuff). this should also be updated on http://fieldtrip.fcdonders.nl/development/realtime
