(following the discussion with Stefan and Markus) check that the cfg defaults in both apply to the MEG setup and to the fMRI setup at the DCCN. External people should modify the defaults, but the startup shell script should be as simple as possible and the defaults should be in the matlab code.

I don't see this as an issue any more.
