the difference is from 24 MB (fieldtrip lite including externals) to 18MB (excluding externals), whereas teh full version of fieldtrip is 71MB. Excluding the externals from "lite" does not save that much and probably causes more problems than it solves.

selected a long list of resolved bugs from roboos and changed the status into "RESOLVED"
